New Haryana Chief Secretary, Satish Chandra Choudhary, assumed his charge on Tuesday and said his priorities would be to ensure the execution of welfare schemes of the Government and keep the administration active. Choudhary was appointed as new Chief Secretary on retirement of PK Chaudhery. The New Chief Secretary said that 2014 is an important year and the announcements made by Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda will be implemented from January 1.
He said effective steps have been taken for the execution of all important announcements like Interim Relief to employees, Risk Allowance to Police Personnel and Old Age Allowance.
He said that lok Sabha elections would be held in the year 2014 and it would be his priority to maintain law and order in the State so that elections could be held in a peaceful manner. Principal Secretary to CM and others congratulated him.
