Punjab BJP president Vijay Sampla visited Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib, near Patiala to enquire about the well being of religious preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale, who had a narrow escape on Tuesday evening when a group of unidentified assailants opened fire at his cavalcade in ludhiana.
Sampla had a closed door one-o-one meeting Dhadrian Wale for about one hour. After the meeting Sampla said that nobody is above law and we will put everybody responsible for this ghastly act behind bars.
The peace and harmony in the state is paramount and nobody will be allowed to disturb it, added Sampla.
So Far 8 arrests arrests have already been made in the case in which one associate of the saint was killed.
A group of armed youths had fired at Dhadriawale's convoy on Tuesday, killing another preacher Sant Bhupinder Singh Khalsa on the spot, however, he himself had a narrow escape.
They were on way to address a religious function in a nearby village Isewal when the attack took place.
