The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Monday slammed Congress MlA from ludhiana West, Bharat Bhushan Ashu for manhandling a young man and his mother.
“The way the Congress MlA Ashu has manhandled a young man and his mother in the presence of Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, has exposed the real character of the Congress party which is shedding crocodile’s tears over the issue of security of women in the State,” said SAD’s chief spokesperson Virsa Singh Valtoha.
He said the black sheep of the Congress was out when Ashu “mercilessly unleashed terror on an elderly lady and his son that too in the presence of Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu”. “This young lad and his mother were actually protesting over the bungling committed by Congress in the party fund meant of election campaign,” said Valtoha.
He said that this incident has proved that Congress party only talk big on the issue of maintaining security of women folk but in real, they have always been caught indulging in such shameful acts.
