To discuss the CBI closure report in the Bargari sacrilege case, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has convened an urgent meeting of its core committee on July 16, Tuesday, at the party head office in Chandigarh. Party president Sukhbir Badal would preside over the meeting which would discuss the issue of closure report of CBI in the most sensational case of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, said the party’s spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema.
Cheema said that the SAD has already expressed its displeasure over this action of CBI and would further resolve how to take up this case to the logical conclusion.
