Targeting the Parkash Singh Badal Government on the issue of deteriorating law and order situation, Punjab Congress general secretary Fateh Jung Bajwa on Sunday said that the SAD-BJP Government hand behind the attack on Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale cannot be ruled out as the Sikh preacher was vocal against the government.
He demanded that an investigation in the case should be handed over to the CBI as the government is in habit of forming SIT just to give safe way to the culprits.
“The latest revelations in the case are clear indicators of the government patronage to the culprits. The Punjab police will let the culprits loose on the orders of their political bosses,” said Bajwa.
He alleged that the Badal government “is playing with the sentiments of the people of Punjab by spoiling state’s peaceful atmosphere. This is being done in a planned manner to create an atmosphere of fear among the people”.
Bajwa also lambasted Chief Minister Badal saying that he had no moral right to be in power after total breakdown of law and order situation after daylight murders every third day.
Expressing shock over well-planned attack near ludhiana on the convoy of Baba Dhadrianwala by
more than a dozen gunmen in which one of the car occupant Bhupinder Singh Dhakkiwale was killed, he said that the situation had crossed all limits.
