SAD-BJP Govt has made lives of people miserable in Punjab: AAP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday hit out at the SAD-BJP combine Government for “ruining” Punjab through “corruption and anti-people policies” saying that it had made the lives of common people “miserable”.

AAP’s Punjab campaign committee head and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann, addressing a rally, said that the SAD-BJP government's “anti-people policies” had been “disastrous” for all stratas of society.

“Each and every section of society is fed up from the SAD-BJP combine government which rendered the youth jobless and the poor people are facing a lot of hardships to feed their families,” he said.

“The life of people in the state has become miserable and farmers are being forced to commit suicides,” he added.

Mann charged the current dispensation with “misleading the people” by “spreading false propaganda against the AAP leaders” on one pretext or the other.  “The government is blatantly using government machinery to foil the political rallies of AAP out of frustration,” he claimed.

He asserted that the AAP movement will further strengthen among the masses with “such undemocratic and foolish” acts of the Badals.

Mann dared Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal to contest the next state election against him from Jalalabad, from where Sukhbir is a sitting MlA.

Training his guns at the Congress, Mann alleged that the party was responsible for “committing huge scams” saying that the people will “never forgive them for that”.

He slammed the Badals for rampant corruption and patronizing different kinds of mafias, including drugs, land, transport, sand and gravel, cable, recruitment, among others, which had made the life of people miserable and the farmers were being forced to commit suicides.
