Himachal Chief Secretary BK Agarwal on Tuesday directed all the concerned officers of the State Government to make necessary arrangements for the proposed visit of President Ram Nath Kovind to the state.
The President will attend the convocation of Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (Dr RPGMC) Tanda at Kangra and Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) at Shimla on October 29 and 30 respectively.
While presiding over a review meeting held here, Agarwal said that all officers should strictly adhere to the instructions of blue book.
He said that Ram Nath Kovind would confer degrees to the students of Dr RPGMC Tanda in its first convocation function to be held on October 29 and will also confer the degrees upon students in the 24th convocation function at HPU on October 30.
Agarwal directed the officers of district administration, Municipal Corporation and all concerned departments to make all necessary arrangements and monitor all preparations personally.
