Giving a major relief to Shop-cum-Flat (SCF) owners in Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) shopping centres, Chief Minister, Manohar lal Khattar has given approval to the policy of converting Shop-cum-Flat into Shop-cum-Office (SCO).
Urban local Bodies Minister, Kavita Jain on Saturday said that HUDA had given approval to this matter in its 111th meeting and the decision would benefit 1173 SCF owners throughout the State.
Jain said that rate for change of SCF into SCO has been fixed according to the area. She said that Rs 16,000 per square meter has been fixed for High Potential Zone whereas 20 per cent increase has been fixed for Ultra High Potential Zone and there would a decrease of 20 to 40 per cent in Medium and low Potential Zones.
She said that for SCO, the first and second floor could be made commercial or increased only according to the authorised area of first floor of SCF.
