For the candidates who were not able to appear for the physical test for the recruitment of women sub-inspectors, the Punjab Government on Monday decided to give them another chance.
The Government has allowed such candidates to appear for physical test on two days —on September 18 and 22. “Punjab Government is in a process of recruiting 110 women sub-inspectors and conducting physical test for candidates at Jalandhar, Ferozpur and Patiala. Punjab Government has decided to provide another chance for the physical test to the candidates who were not able to appear on the earlier scheduled dates,” said Punjab Police Inspector General Gurpreet Deo.
She said that the candidates now have another chance to appear for the physical test on September 18 at Ferozepur and on September 22 at PAP Jalandhar and Police lines Fatehgarh Sahib respectively. Meanwhile, the Government has fixed October 12 as the date to conduct written test for recruitment for 110 posts of sub-inspectors (female).
The successful candidates of ongoing physical trials would be only eligible for the test to be conducted at Jalandhar. Further details regarding written test, and centers would be uploaded on the websites of C-DAC, Mohali (www.recruitmet.cdacmohali.in) and Punjab Police (www.punjabpolice.gov.in). He has asked the concerned candidates to ensure their participation at the concerned centre.
