Project Director, Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associate Programme and Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr Amit Agrawal on Friday directed all the Deputy Commissioners to re-focus on the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” campaign and take strict action against anti-social elements involved in gender determination.
In a review meeting of various schemes including Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, e-Office, Saral, Parivar Pehchan Patra, Saksham Haryana Samarth Haryana, Meri Fasal Mera Byora with Deputy Commissioners and CMGGA held through video conference, Agarwal said that Haryana had taken forward the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi from Panipat in the year 2015 and yielded positive results, directing the officers to once again continuously monitor this campaign.
Appreciating the use of IT in various schemes being run by the Haryana Government, Agrawal said for this Haryana has become a role model for many such schemes, which have been followed by the Central Government and other States.
Emphasising moving files through e-office, he said that by December 25, at least 10 files should be moved online in each department of the district. If there is a shortage of necessary equipment like computers etc. in any office, then the Deputy Commissioner should ensure availability of the same on stipulated time, he directed.
