Rapper Yo-Yo Honey Singh with his song Yo Yo gailay nachega, Tau ki maati ka yo gana charon or bajega, Yo Yo gailay tum bhi gao — will seek votes for Indian National lok Dal (INlD) for the October 15 polls in Haryana.

Catering to the younger generation, the song of Yo Yo is already on air on FM radio as well as television channels, signalling a generational change in the INlD functioning.

Karan Chautala, son of INlD leader, Abhay Singh Chautala released the polls songs in Chandigarh on Thursday, adding that through the songs, the party was trying to attract the youngsters.

Karan Chautala said their poll musicals were constructive. “We have tried to convey the ideals of Chaudhary Devi lal to the people of the Sate, particularly the youth. What we think about women’s safety, welfare of farmers and workers class,’’ he said. On the other hand, Karan said, the publicity campaign of other parties, like the Congress were misdirected and negative.

“It is according to time. Our ideology is based on Chaudhary Devi lal.  We only tried to tap the young voters”, said Karan, who recently completed his B.com from England. He has huge dreams for his party. “This new music in rap is entirely based on Haryanvi language and easily understandable,” he added.

“It consists of Haryana Jitega Inelo Jitega, Chautala nai vijay banao, yo yo gelo tum bhi gao songs in it”, said Karan. It was earlier decided that rap singer Yo Yo would come in Chandigarh for the release but he couldn’t due to an accident. INlD has also put this new style of campaign on WhatsApp, You Tube and other social media sites.
