Haryana Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma, Health Minister, Anil Vij, and Cooperation Minister, Bikram Singh Yadav, on Saturday welcomed brand ambassador for Yoga and Ayurveda in Haryana, Baba Ramdev, and Acharya Balkrishna, who reached here.
They would impart training to participants at the 3-day State-level yoga training programme to be held at Parade Ground in Sector 5, Panchkula, near here, from June 12 to 14.
Baba Ramdev described the ‘International Yoga Day’, which would be celebrated on June 21, as a historic day for the country, which had been recognised globally through the efforts of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He said that during the three-day programme in Panchkula, he would inform people about the secrets of Yoga so they could also live a healthy life.
The Health Minister said that with the assistance of Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, Ayurveda and Yoga had been promoted in the State and the process of development of World Herbal Forest would soon be started under the guidance of Acharya Balkrishna.
