Protesting against Haryana Government's orders to prohibit mass casual leave to the State employees to participate in demonstrations or strike or agitations, Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh has announced to conduct a rally in Chief Minister's city Karnal on November 25.

Haryana Govt on Saturday in a circular issued by General Administration Dept to all the administrative secretaries, heads of departments, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, managing director or chief executive officer of boards or corporations and registrars of the universities, asked them to comply with the orders to disallow mass casual leave to the State employees.

Following this, the State Congress had slammed the Haryana Govt for banning mass casual leave to Government employees.

Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh has now decided to organise a State level rally in Karnal on November 25 protesting against BJP led State Govt. During the rally, the State employees will put forth the non-fulfilled poll promises made by the ruling BJP during assembly polls last year. Meanwhile, Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh met State Finance and Revenue Minister, Capt Abhimanyu on employees related issues on Monday. After the meeting, Capt Abhimayu said that after getting the report of Madhavan Commission, the government would consider it sympathetically and decision would be taken in the direction of implementing it.

About other demands of the employees, he said that he had received a memorandum in this regard and would soon organise a meeting of office bearers of Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh with the CM, Manohar lal. The Minister added that the Pay Commission constituted by the Central Govt has given its recommendations before time which is a justified step whereas earlier it was delayed. He said that after considering the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission by the Centre, the matter would come before the States.
