The Chandigarh BJP has urged the Union Ministry for establishing a tertiary care institution on the pattern of AIIMS in the city to reduce burden on PGIMER here.
In a meeting with Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh in New Delhi, Chandigarh BJP president Sanjay Tandon apprised him about the problems of city residents and urged him to establish a tertiary care health institution in Chandigarh.Tandon apprised the Home Minister about the existing health care services in Chandigarh and urged him to look into the issue.
