Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday announced to open an Army Recruitment Sub Centre in Rewari and permanently deploy Rapid Action Force (RAF) battalion in Mewat for ensuring communal harmony in the region.
Addressing “Shaheed Samman Rally” organised by Union Minister of State for Urban Housing, Planning and Poverty Alleviation Rao Inderjit Singh in Rewari, Rajnath Singh attacked Pakistan without naming it saying despite our cordial gesture, our neighbour resorted to terrorism, which is a weapon of the cowards.
He said incidents of naxalism and terrorism have decreased drastically in the country in last two years.
Earlier, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal said that the wave in favour of BJP started from this very region during last lok Sabha elections when Narender Modi came here to address the Ex-servicemen rally, just two days before his nomination as Prime Ministerial candidate of the party and the people of south Haryana contributed a lot in formation of BJP Government at the Centre as well as State.
