Punjab Government has decided to organise its second State-level job fair from February 20 till March 10 to be organised across the State.
The State Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Friday announced this after presiding over a meeting with the senior officials of the Department and the representatives of the private universities to chalk out the programme for the same.
Channi said that the Punjab Government has increased ambit of job fair, and besides the Technical Education Department, the Department of Higher Education, Medical Education, Employment Generation and Skill Development Mission are also participating in the event this year.
“This year’s job fair would be organised at different places throughout the State from February 20 to March 10 by the Government industrial training institutes, Government polytechnic colleges and private universities,” he said.
Channi directed the officials of the department to set up help desks at the government ITIs and Polytechnic Colleges to provide help for applying online for the Job fair. Aspirant candidates would be provided free at these institutions to apply for Job fair.
