Tightening its noose against the corrupt Government employees, the vigilance bureau of Punjab nabbed 7 officers red handed while accepting bribe in the month of May this year.
A spokesman of Vigilance Bureau said that the bureau has also initiated fresh vigilance inquiries in 8 different cases.
Other than this, 6 criminal cases were also registered in the month of May.
The Spokesman further said that different courts during the hearing of cases filed by the vigilance bureau have convicted 2 persons whereas the bureau has filed challans in ten another cases.
