Punjab Vigilance Bureau has arrested a Head Constable (HC) Karaj Singh, posted at police station Zira, Ferozepur district, taking bribe of Rs 20,000. Spokesperson said that the accused HC Karaj Singh was arrested on the complaint of Karaj Singh from village Dhandian, tehsil Zira, who alleged that a mining case has been registered against his brother at police station Zira and the investigation in-charge HC Karaj Singh was demanding Rs 30,000 from him not to arrest his brother in this case but the deal has been struck at Rs 20,000.
