To give further impetus to the Punjab Government’s Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Scheme, the Housing Department has started the recruitment in various cadres in its Town and Country Planning wing.
The state Housing and Urban Development Minister Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria said that the recruitment drive was necessitated to accelerate the pace of work and bring efficiency in the working of the Department, as considerable number of employees working on different positions had attained superannuation over the years.
He said that the recruitment drive for filling the posts of Assistant Town Planners (ATPs) and Planning Officers (POs) was on in the Country and Town Planning Wing.
