Punjab Government has decided to establish inter-state computerised check posts at the entry points of borders of neighboring States. “The check posts are being set up on outsource basis. Main purpose to set up these computerised check posts is to curb illegal operation of transport vehicles entering in the state,” said a spokesman of Transport department. He further said that computerised check posts would ensure transparency.
