The Punjab Government would soon announce a comprehensive package for the welfare of farmers and labourers including farm labourers.
As of now, the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal is working out the details of the same, disclosed by Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on the sidelines of a religious congregation organised on the occasion of 107th birth anniversary of Sant Tirlok Singh on Sunday.
“After putting Punjab on the fast track of development during last seven years, SAD-BJP Government is now focusing on micro development and category centric plans. During last 20 days, I and Chief Minister are evolving a most comprehensive package for agriculture sector and labour class and Chief Minister himself is fine tuning this package to make it most broad based,” said Sukhbir.
He added, CM would himself announce this package in next fortnight after tying up loose ends with different concerned departments.
