A day after Karnataka’s 21-year-old Naveen SG died in shelling in war-torn Ukraine, Barnala’s 22-year-old Chandan Jindal died of medical reasons — becoming the second Indian casualty in the war-hit nation in two days.
Jindal, who was pursuing a medical course at Vinnytsia National Medical University in West-Central Ukraine, passed away on Wednesday morning. Fourth-year student, Jindal was undergoing treatment in the hospital for over a month with blood clots in his brain.
Jindal was studying at Vinnytsia National Pyrogov, Memorial Medical University in Vinnytsia. As per available information, Jindal was admitted in Emergency Hospital Vinnytsia (Kyivska street 68) after suffering an Ischemic stroke.
