To facilitate every beneficiary in Punjab, the Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development is holding pension camps enmasse on August 17 across the State. Convenience camps are being set up at different places to extend the benefits of pension schemes to the needy citizens of the State, said the Minister in-charge Dr Baljit Kaur, while appealing to the eligible citizen that he or she can come to Suwidha camp and submit his or her application form by fulfilling necessary conditions as per government’s instructions. Similar convenience camps will be organized at different places in the state on every Wednesday in the month of August and September this year.
