Punjab Government has shifted 307 lecturers under its rationalisation policy in the State’s Government Senior Secondary Schools to impart quality education to students of Classes XI and XII of science stream. Total 307 Science, Math lecturers and senior lab assistants have been shifted. “55 lecturers are shifted in ‘healthy’ Medical and Non-Medical groups, and 252 lectures on vacant and additional post in Government senior secondary schools,” said an official spokesperson of the Education department. He said that the schools with 15 or above students in any Class XI and XII or 25 and students in science stream is considered to be healthy groups.
