Government agencies and private millers procured more than 1.23 crore (1,23,65,295) tonnes of paddy till Thursday evening.
Out of total procurement in State’s all procurement centres, the Government agencies procured 1.17 crore tonnes (95.1 per cent) till date whereas private traders procured 6.10 lakh tonnes (4.9 per cent). Till November 14, PUNGRAIN procured 30.4 per cent, MARKFED procured 23.4 per cent. PUNSUP procured 22.4 per cent, PSWC 9.8 per cent whereas PAFC was able to procure 10.2 per cent. Central government agency FCI procured 3.8 per cent.
