Punjab Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Affairs Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot on Monday called upon the students belonging to the SC/BC category studying in various educational institutions of the State to avail the golden opportunity in the form of the Post-Matric scholarships for advancement in life.
He said that Department has invited online applications from SC/BC students or availing PMS scheme benefits, and those eligible can apply online through Dr Ambedkar Scholarship portal on www.scholarships.gov.in from October 1 to 15 for new as well as the renewal applications pertaining to 2018-19 session.
Dharamsot said that educational institutions would ensure to send applications to their respective sanctioning authorities by October 31. The institutions would rectify applications and again send them to authorities till November 30.
