In a major administrative rejig, the Punjab Government on Monday announced transfer and posting orders of four IAS and nine PCS officers with immediate effect.
As per the orders approved by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Excise and Taxation Financial Commissioner and senior IAS officer DP Reddy has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Finance, thereby relieving Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Vini Mahajan from the additional charge of Finance.
Spokesperson said that General Administration Secretary Rahul Bhandari, having additional charge of Additional Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi, has been now relieved of the charge of General Administration and now posted as Additional Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhavan, New Delhi.
Revenue Special Secretary Shruti Singh has been posted as Greater ludhiana Area Development Authority (GlADA) Chief Administrator while Bathinda Additional Deputy Commission Sumeet Jarangal has been posted as ADC Development (D) Fazilka.
Moga Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Surinder Kaur, a PCS officer, has been given additional charge of Moga Municipal Corporation Commissioner in place of IAS officer Vipul Ujwal whose posting orders would be issued separately, he said.
Besides, several PCS officers were also transferred which included Avikesh Gupta, posted as Jalalabad SDM, Sonam Chaudary posted as Assistant Commissioner (General) and (Grievances) at Fatehgarh Sahib.
Among others transferred included PCS officer Narinder Singh posted as Jaito SDM after cancelling the orders of Nitish Singla. Bhupinder Singh has been transferred and posted as ADC (D), Mohali, Tejinderpal Singh as ADC (D), Amritsar, Rajdeep Singh Brar as Sunam SDM, Perneet Shergill as Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioner, and Satwant Singh has been posted as Kapurthala SDM.
