Punjab Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua on Tuesday reviewed the progress of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center which is expected to bolster the cost-effective cancer treatment in the State. After the meeting, the CS visited the site of the project at Mullanpur (New Chandigarh) to gain firsthand knowledge of the ground reality. He also visited the patients being treated in various departments. Briefing the Chief Secretary, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre Deputy Director Prof Ashish Gulia apprised that till date, approximately 300 patients have received treatment in the Centre.
