Punjab BJP will launch ‘One Note, Kamal Par Vote’ campaign in the State on Saturday to garner support for its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
During its fortnight campaign ‘One Note, Kamal Par Vote’ , BJP workers will visit 15 lakh houses in the State. The party workers would go door-to-door and request people to contribute from as low as Rs 10 to a maximum of Rs 1,000 for the party and support Modi in the upcoming lok Sabha polls.
Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma in a meeting held on Friday said that BJP workers will contact people visiting 15 lakh houses during this fortnight campaign and expose the mal-administration of the UPA Government and the achievements made by the erstwhile NDA Government led by BJP stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi in Gujarat as Chief Minister of the State.
Addressing the meeting, Sharma said that the Fateh Rally held at Jagraon on February 23 of Narendra Modi had not only boosted the morale of the party workers but also the masses of the State.
He said that the campaign ‘One Note, Kamal Par Vote’ will bring a change in the mindset of the people to take out the country from the mess of the UPA.
“This campaign will ensure winning of all the 13 seats of lok Sabha in Punjab and will help form NDA Government under the leadership of Modi. The campaign will go in the State concurrently and senior office bearers of the party had been shouldered responsibility to look after the arrangements,” he added.
He said that apart from this, he himself will also join the campaign in the morning for two hours and for two hours in the evening in
different cities. Sharma added that the people of the country have to choose from the
corrupt, weak political
leadership of the Congress and the strong, developmental approach and healthy leadership of Modi this time.
