Punjab BJP on Thursday lashed out at the Congress-led UPA Government for the ongoing economic affairs and free fall of Indian Rupee against Dollar in international market.

State BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh blamed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi for country’s crisis.

“They are not capable to lead the country in progressive way and under their leadership Indian economy has reached on ventilator in intensive care unit,” he added.

Chugh termed the present economic was worse than 1991 economic crisis. “Due to paralysis policies of UPA Government, India is facing current economic meltdown and consequently foreign investors are also not taking interest in economy and Indian Rupee is declining day-by-day,” he added.

Chugh also criticised Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram for blaming his predecessor Pranab Mukherjee for dire state of the economy. “He has no guts to blame Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi for the economic crisis,” added Chugh.
