Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kisan Morcha announced its office bearers on Wednesday.
The list was released by Punjab BJP Kisan Morcha president Jatinder Singh Atwal after consulting the State party chief Kamal Sharma, who was also present during the announcement. Atwal appointed Gurmail Singh Saran from Moga, Charanjeet Singh Randhawa from Gurdaspur, Dhanantar Singh from Mansa, Harwinder Singh from Hoshiarpur, Ranjeet Singh Kahlon from Gurdaspur as Morcha’s vice presidents.
Dr Ashwani Rana of Ropar and Jaswant Singh Sandhu of Mukatsar have been appointed as general secretaries, while Major Pal Singh from Khanna, Maninder Singh from Sangrur, Charanjeet Singh from Sujanpur, Jagdeep Singh Nagla from Mohali, Baldev Singh from Bathinda and Wazir Singh from Amritsar were appointed as secretaries of the farmers’ wing. Besides, Pankaj Mahajan from Pathankot has been appointed as cashier.
Kamal Sharma, while congratulating the newly-appointed office bearers, called upon them to devote full time especially among farmers to ensure that BJP-SAD combine wins all the 13 parliament seats of Punjab in the ensuing parliamentary polls.
