Punjab unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday announced the list of State executive members, the special invitees, and the permanent invitees to the party.
A list of 131 members have been announced by state party chief Kamal Sharma.
In the State executive, senior leaders including Balram ji Dass Tandon, Prof Brij lal Rinwa, and Satpal Gosain have been given the priority. Former Cabinet ministers Manoranjan
Kalia, Tikshan Sud, Master Mohan lal, Swarna Ram,
Arunesh Shakar have also been included in the State executive committee.
Rajya Sabha MP Avinash Rai Khanna, former State president Prof Rajinder Bhandari, former State president and Pathankot MlA Ashwani Sharma are also been inducted as the members of State executive.
Besides, 56 party leaders were included in the State executive. Among the 36 permanent invitees, Sharma has included Amritsar MP Navjot Singh Sidhu, former MP Vinod Khanna, Swaran Salaria, cabinet minister Bhagat Chuni lal, Cabinet
Minister Anil Joshi, Cabinet Minister Madan Mohan Mittal, cabinet minister Surjit Kumar Jyani, Vidhan Sabha deputy Speaker Dinesh Thakur (Babbu), Chief Parliamentary Secretaries KD Bhandari, Som Parkash, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, among others.
Apart from that, 29 special invitees to the party have also been appointed.
