Two-time lok Sabha member and BJP general secretary Prof Ram Shankar Katheria has been appointed as the in-charge of Punjab party affairs.
The BJP national president, Amit Shah on Tuesday announced the new list of the party’s State heads days after registering victories in the Maharashtra and Haryana assembly polls.Agra MP Prof Katheria would replace senior BJP leader and Himachal Pradesh’s former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar.Besides, party’s Rajya Sabhya Avinash Rai Khanna has been retained as the in-charge of Jammu & Kashmir, which is going to assembly polls early next year or later this year.
