Punjab Governor Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki on Monday said that PM Narendra Modi's various initiatives, can only be achieved with the active support and cooperation of the youth. “Prime Minister has initiated a number of programs like Made in India, Digital India and Swachchsh Bharat, which are aimed at holistic development of the country. All these targets could not be achieved without the active support and cooperation of the youth,” he said while addressing the gathering during lPU convocation.
He said: “Students are the fate of the country and fortune of the world so you have to play an important role for the transformation of the country.” Prof Solanki said the education in India has been seen as an effective tool for social change, for empowerment of the people, and for sustained economic development.
"Institutions should continuously learn, improve and upgrade their knowledge, to face the emerging challenges of globalization. Professional Institutions should focus on all levels of teachings, research, extension and consultancy," he said.
