On the Birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal on Saturday visited Civil Hospital in Panchkula and distributed fruits among the patients and wished them speedy recovery. He also visited the Ashiana homes in village Abhaypur and there too he distributed fruits among the residents.
Taking to reporters later, the Chief Minister said that on the birthday of Prime Minister, fruits were being distributed among patients and the poor people in the entire country. The day is being celebrated as a service to humanity, he added.
He said the State Government has decided to provide affordable houses to two lakh families in the state. The housing agencies like Housing Board and Haryana Urban Development Authority have been entrusted with the task to construct these houses.
