Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a joint rally of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh units of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on September 11 at Chandigarh’s Sector-25 rally ground.
To discuss the preparations for the same, the Punjab BJP leaders on Friday held a meeting at its party headquarters in Sector-37 under the leadership of state party chief Kamal Sharma and state Industries Minister Madan Mohan Mittal and labour Minister Bhagat Chunni lal. Besides, all party MlAs were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, it was discussed that the rally will be held at Sector-25 rally ground. It has been decided that all the leaders from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh units of the party will reach at the rally ground by 12 noon on September 11.
This meeting will be followed by other series of meetings in the coming days to discuss and decided how to welcome the Prime Minister.
later, all the party leaders also met Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at his residence to discuss the matter.
