An employee of PGIMER on Thursday finished his life by hanging himself by the ceiling fan at his residence in Sector-25. No suicide note was found, police said.
Rishipal (40), a resident of Sector-25 on Thursday afternoon took this drastic step while he was alone at home as his wife went to her office in the morning and children were in their schools.
When Seema, the wife of the deceased reached home in the afternoon, she noticed her husband hanging with the ceiling fan and informed police. Police rushed Rishipal to Government Multi Specialty Hospital sector-16 where doctors declared him brought dead. Rishipal was a grade four employee working at PGIMER and belonged to Uttar Pradesh. The wife of the deceased informed police that Rishipal had been in stress for a long time due to unknown reasons.
“The dead body of deceased has been sent for post-mortem. The case will further be investigated after the post-mortem report,” said Ashish Kapoor, DSP/UT police.
