Director, PGIMER, Professor Vivek Lal on Thursday officially released the book on ‘Oral Health’, written by Dr Aditi Kapur, Professor, Pediatric Dentistry Unit, Oral Health Science Center, PGIMER. The Director said that Early Childhood Caries (ECC) is one of the most prevalent chronic conditions of early childhood with at least one in every three children less than six years old being affected by it to some extent. Oral diseases are largely preventable and thus understanding this concept from very initial years would be largely beneficial.
