The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Sunday said that the people of Malwa had shown the mirror to both the sham ‘Bolda Punjab’ exercise as well as Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann for trying to befool them with false propaganda.
“The wave has turned against you from the very region in which you derived the maximum support,” said SAD general secretary Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.
He said: “The manner in which people boycotted your ‘Bolda Punjab’ programme in Sangrur as well as the address of Bhagwant Mann is an eye opener of what awaits you now in Punjab.”
Stating that the vicious misinformation and hate campaign initiated by AAP was rebounding on the party and its leaders now, Dhindsa said that there could be no other reason for the complete no show at the AAP programme in Sangrur yesterday.
“Despite huge publicity, there was a negligent attendance. Even those who attended started leaving when Bhagwant Mann got up to make his speech. This is indicative of the present popularity of AAP and its MP in Sangrur now,” he added.
He said now that Bolda Punjab exercise had flopped, it was incumbent upon Mann and Kanwar Sandhu to give the true picture to their one man high command Arvind Kejriwal.
Dhindsa also asked AAP to stop misleading youth and farmers and instead tell them what it had done for both classes.
