unjab government has decided to cancel the allotment of industrial plots across the state, allotted to the industrialists for boosting the state’s industrial sector but lying vacant since long.

He demanded that these plots be allotted to those industrialists interested in setting up industrial concerns, which was immediately accepted by the Industries Minister.
Arora said that the State Government’s industrial policy is the best in the country which has resulted in putting Punjab’s industrial sector fully on the course to the prosperity and this is further borne out by the fact that the town of Mandi Gobindgarh has seen 227 industrial units being re-started.
The Minister also released a grant of Rs 3.32 crore to Mohali Hi-Tech Cluster and also announced Rs 10 lakh for MIA Bhawan to the Mohali Industries’ Association. Apart from this, 25 MoUs, worth Rs 591.66 crore, were also inked with the industrialists.
