The first meeting of the Punjab Medical Council after election was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. AS Sekhon, President Punjab Medical Council and Registrar Dr. Sanjeev Mahajan.
All elected and nominated members attended the meeting and unanimously decided to elect Dr. Girish Sahni as Vice-President of Punjab Medical Council. The election to Punjab Medical Council for ten members was held in accordance to the Punjab Medical Registration Act. All the members discussed how to improve the dignity of medical professionals and providing best care service to the patients and to improve doctor & patient relationship.
