Punjab Congress on Friday submitted a complaint to Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Punjab VK Singh demanding removal of photos of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal from the 108 ambulance service.
The complaint signed by PCC President Partap Singh Bajwa has requested the CEO to issue necessary directions to Government of Punjab to remove the photos of Chief Minister since Model Code of Conduct has been enforced in the State due to lok Sabha
elections.
The complaint read, “The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee has full faith and confidence that your good self would ensure the holding of free and fair elections and provide level playing field to all the political parties in the State participating in the electoral process, bedrock of any democratic system”.
