Punjab sports department, in collaboration with Australian Trade Commission, is all set to launch a State-wide sports awareness campaign. To begin with, a seminar will be held on Friday at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College in Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
Department spokesperson said that S joint campaign to promote sports culture would witness interactive session in the presence of renowned international sportspersons with budding players motivating them to participate in international level tournaments.
During the discussions, known Australian players would also impart technical sports training to the players. Melanie Jones, former Australian Cricket player, would also grace the occasion.
As many as 700 sportspersons, coaches, members of Australian Trade Commission, renowned sports personalities like Balbir Singh (Senior), Pargat Singh, Sukhvir Singh Grewal, and Rajanbir Kaur Ajnala, would interact with potential sportspersons.
