After earlier unsuccessful runs by the Congress to pressurise the State Government to hand over the probe into the multi-crore drug racket case to the Central probe agency, the party’s State unit, in another attempt, has decided to knock the doors of the Apex Court to seek “comprehensive impartial probe” in the matter.
“We are reiterating our earlier stand to have a CBI inquiry in the drug case…We will move the Supreme Court,” said Bajwa, adding, “The government is getting hold of small peddlers and drug addicts while big fish are roaming carefree. We want a CBI inquiry in the matter and we would move the SC to bring forth the reality.”
