The Haryana Government would constitute a committee to go into the issue of giving the State Government employees salaries on Punjab pattern, and removing pay anomalies, if any.
After meeting representatives of the ‘Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh’ on behalf of the State Government, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said that the BJP Government was committed to keeping the promises made in the election manifesto. Referring to the memorandum on the demands given by the Mahasangh, he said the State Government would consider them sympathetically. On the issue of Bawal land acquisition, Abhimanyu said that he had submitted his report to the Chief Minister after having discussion with the farmers’ representatives. The Government has various options which would be considered, and a decision taken, he added.
