Coming Saturday, over 100 women of ludhiana will converge on a city hotel to attend a panel discussion on ‘ludhiana – a Safe City or Smart CityIJ’ being organised by BetterThink, the English Division of city’s Ed-tech company, Top Careers & You (TCY).
This interactive session on women’s security will be followed by the Inter- Zone ladies Club Grand Finale which will see top four ladies’ clubs - lakshmi , Inner Wheel, Ragini and Gayatri - vying for top honours.
The event is likely to see a fierce contest among club members involving a chain of activities which will basically put their English language skills and personality traits to test. The winning club members will be honoured with prizes by the Chief Guest.
Some top women of ludhiana from different walks of life like Education, Hospitality, Media, Medicine, Police and Textiles will grace the podium as panelists.
According to BetterThink General Manager, Gurpreet Wadhera, the interactive session following the panel discussion would give an opportunity to city women, young and old, to deliberate on different security issues agitating their minds.
“Now that our city has already got its coveted ‘Smart City’ status, the authorities concerned should make sure that we women feel more secure at home and on the streets of ludhiana,” she emphasised.
