All the online facilities recently introduced by Haryana Police through its citizen portal — ‘HarSamay’, available on www.haryanapoliceonline.gov.in are paid, except registration of complaints for general public.
People will have to shell out Rs200 each for various online services if they want to avail it on this web portal. These services include Domestic Help Verification, Character Certificate Request, tenant and paying guest verification request and employee verification request. People will also have to pay Rs200 each to get various police permissions including for organising event, performance, protest, strike request and procession request etc. The owners of hotels, guest houses, etc will also have to pay Rs200 to Haryana Police while providing details of the foreigners staying in their premises. Only complaint registration facility is free on this web portal. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal inaugurated this facility in Panchkula on January 1.
