Three days after Charanjit Singh Channi took over the state’s reins, Punjab Government ordered the removal of all the posters or advertisements, highlighting the government's achievements or schemes, along with the pictures of former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, from the state-owned buses. The same will be replaced with the posters of the new Chief Minister.
The state Director Public Relations Department has written to the Punjab Roadways two days back, stating that “with the replacement of the Chief Minister in Punjab, all general managers be ordered to remove the pictures of Capt Amarinder Singh pasted on all buses”.
However, buses with Capt Amarinder’s posters can still be seen at the bus local stand.
