Soon, the information concerning vaccination of new born children in Government hospitals of Haryana would be given through SMS to the parents.
Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij who was in Rohtak on Thursday said that the process to issue birth and death certificates through electronic medium has been initiated and there is also an arrangement for making Aadhar card of newborns.
He said that file monitoring system has also been initiated in all hospitals and offices of health department.
Be it Chief Medical Officer’s office or Chandigarh Headquarters, now all files coming to Health Department could be tracked. No file could be retained for more than one week in any office. It is important to take action on the file within one week. If any file takes more than one week with any office, he gets its information, said the Minister.
Vij said that by March next, all hospitals would be linked online, after which data of any patient getting treatment in any hospital could be seen online and this information could be seen from any hospital.
He said that after a patient gets registered in a government hospital, his online data is created which includes information like his disease, prescribed medicines, his blood group and other such details. Patient can get himself timely treatment in any hospital of the state by making use of online data, added the Minister.
