With the State Assembly elections approaching, there will be no transfers in the Health Department, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said on Monday.
A state health officer said that around 10 to 20 applications seeking transfer and forwarded by the local public representatives are being received at the department on a daily basis.
Reacting on increasing number of transfer letters through various sources to the department concerned, Vij told reporters that the state government has adopted the policy of not transferring any government employees in the next three months.
"All the government employees will have to work at their assigned posts till the upcoming assembly election gets over. Next government will address this issue. No transfer of government officials will take place at any cost in the next three months", he reiterated.
